Dinner and Luncheon Information

The Bryn Mawr Hound Show traditionally opens with an informal dinner on Friday evening preceeding the show.  This event is extremely popular. It features a horn blowing competition with both amateur and professional divisions (the professional division is open to huntsmen and staff of exhibiting packs and awards cash prizes) and a Whip Cracking contest. This year, the Marshall award will be presented at the dinner

Because this dinner is often sold out, please reserve as early as possible.

Cost of the dinner is $55 per person when reserved at least 10 days in advance of the event, and $65 per person thereafter (if available.)  Children under 12 are $25.

Use this link to open a copy of the pre-show Dinner Invitation, which includes a mail-in reservation form for dinner and luncheon reservations.

To reserve and pay on-line, please go to the ONLINE PAYMENTS page.

On the day of the show, a delicious luncheon is available in the Radnor Hunt clubhouse.  The luncheon  features the presentation of the Julian M. Marshall award, given annually to a living individual for his or her lifetime contribution to hunting and hounds.

The cost of the luncheon is $35 per person; Children under 12 pay $15 each.

To reserve and pay on-line, please go to the ONLINE PAYMENTS page.

Luncheon tickets can also be purchased by mail (using the dinner form), at the pre-show dinner, and on the morning of the show.

In addition, a food truck will be available on the grounds beginning Saturday at 7:30 a.m.

Questions regarding meals may be addressed to Betsy Marshall via e-mail to dinner@bmhoundshow.org.
