Dinner and Luncheon Information

The Bryn Mawr Hound Show traditionally opens with an informal dinner on Friday evening preceeding the show.  This event is extremely popular. It features a horn blowing competition with both amateur and professional divisions (the professional division is open to huntsmen and staff of exhibiting packs and awards cash prizes) and a Whip Cracking contest. The Julian Marshall award, given annually to a living individual for his or her lifetime contribution to hunting and hounds will also be presented at the dinner. The 2024 recipient is John K. “Jack” Kingsley, MFH, Old Chatham Hunt Club.

Because this dinner is often sold out, please reserve as early as possible.

Cost of the dinner is $70 per person when reserved at least 10 days in advance of the event, and $80 per person thereafter (if available.)  Children under 12 are $35 ($40 after RSVP date).

On the day of the show, a delicious luncheon is available in the Radnor Hunt clubhouse.
The cost of the luncheon is $35 per person; Children under 12 pay $20 each.

To reserve and pay on-line, please go to the ONLINE PAYMENTS page.

The pre-show Dinner Invitation, including a mail-in reservation form for dinner and luncheon reservations is HERE.

Please note that no reservations will be taken at the door for either meal.

In addition, a food truck will be available on the grounds on Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Questions regarding meals may be addressed to Sally Congdon via e-mail to dinner@bmhoundshow.org.
